Tyne Morgan is doing what she calls her “dream job.” After spending two years on the road as AgDay and U.S. Farm Report National Reporter, in 2014 Tyne was named the first female Host of U.S. Farm Report. She’s only the fourth host of the show, following Orion Samuelson, Max Armstrong, and John Phipps. Tyne works each week to bring viewers the latest agricultural and market-related news, by diving into stories she believes rural Americans want to hear most.

Growing up in rural Missouri, Tyne attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she majored in Agriculture Journalism, with an emphasis in broadcast. During her college years, she was a farm broadcast intern for Brownfield Ag News, and was the 2006 Missouri State Fair Queen, serving as the Ambassador for Missouri agriculture.

Farmers and ranchers are faced with continuous challenges each year. From volatile markets to unpredictable weather, it’s the agricultural community that proves no matter the obstacle, resilience reigns. U.S. Farm Report Host Tyne Morgan will take a deep dive into the unique challenges farmers face this year, and the opportunities that could lie ahead. One of the biggest hurdles is the current perception of American Agriculture. While farmers are the backbone of this country, fewer and fewer Americans know or appreciate where and how their food is raised. What is it going to take to propel Agriculture into a perception change? Tyne Morgan gives a glimpse into what needs to happen to get Agriculture back in a positive light.
